A: S-100/ S-100A expires 1 year from date of issue. Each year after you must complete the S-100A online to maintain certification.

A: The S-100 is a 16 hour course that must be done in person. The S-100A is an annual refresher of the same course content and certification, which can be completed in as little as 3 hours and is much more cost effective.

A: You must have completed the full 2 day S-100 course in person within the past 5 years to be eligible for the online re-certification. You will be required to submit your existing S-100 certificate before being issued your new S-100A

A: The online course is meant to refresh fundamental knowledge and skills that you should have covered in your full S-100 course. Expect to take up to 3 hours to complete it. You will have 30 days from the time of purchase to complete the course and 2 attempts at the exam.

A: Although there is a high success rate in passing the course, you must get at least 70% to pass, and are allowed 2 attempts. You can review material before your second attempt. If you are unsuccessful a second time, you will have to redo the course.
