Course Description

Our Firefighter Training Program has been designed by experienced BC Wildland Firefighters and is taught by qualified instructors.  This program is intended for individuals interested in becoming wildland firefighters, either with BCWS or a contract fire crew.  Upon successful completion, all participants will earn the minimal requirements to fight wildfire in BC.  Additional outcomes from this training include a competitive advantage when applying for jobs, higher standards of training and safety, establishing industry connections and high quality training experience consolidated into one concise program.
